Making the video
- How do I make a window peeper video?
- Sign in with Google or email, upload one clear photo, choose Standard 480p or HD 720p and press Make my video. You get a 14-second vertical MP4 with the person from your photo in the lit window, usually in about 4 minutes.
- Do I need an app, CapCut or a prompt?
- No. It runs in the browser on your phone or computer. There is no app to install, no window to film at and no prompt to write: the prompt and the reference scene are already built in.
- Is there a window peeper filter on TikTok or Instagram?
- Not an official one. CapCut has user-made templates, but they need your own footage filmed at a window. We make the whole scene from one photo.
- What kind of photo works best?
- One adult, face clearly visible and roughly facing the camera, head and upper body in frame, good even light. Avoid sunglasses, masks, group photos and heavy filters.
- Do I keep my own clothes?
- Yes. The outfit in your photo is what you wear in the window.
- Can I change the food or the room?
- Not yet. Every video uses the original scene: the burger, the room and the curtain. The person in your photo is the only thing that changes.
- Why is my face small at the start?
- The video opens outside the building, so your face is small while the camera is still far away. It sharpens as the window fills the frame.
- How long does it take?
- Usually about 4 minutes. You can close the page; we email you when the video is ready or if it failed.
- Which AI model makes the videos?
- Alibaba's Wan 3.0 video model, run on fal.ai. It generates a new video from your photo and a fixed reference clip of the scene.

- How long is the video and what format is it?
- A 14-second MP4 in 9:16 vertical with night ambience and the curtain sound, ready for TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts.
- Does the video have the trend sound?
- It comes with night ambience and the curtain sound. For the trend sound, add "original sound - rodentspawn" in TikTok or Reels when you post, so your video also shows up on that sound's page.
- Is there a watermark?
- No. Neither Standard nor HD videos have a watermark, including the $9.99 single video.
- What's the difference between 480p and 720p?
- Standard 480p looks great on a phone and uses 1 credit. HD 720p is sharper and uses 2 credits, so it needs the 3- or 8-video pack.
- Can I post it on TikTok, Reels or Shorts?
- Yes. It's already 9:16. Turn on the AI-generated label when the app asks, and don't present it as real camera footage. Videos are for personal, non-commercial use, which includes posting them on social media.
- How long can I download my video?
- Finished videos stay in My Videos for 30 days, then they are deleted automatically. Download the ones you want to keep.
Price and credits
- How much does the window peeper AI video cost?
- $9.99 for one video (1 credit), $24.99 for 3 credits, or $39.99 for 8 credits, which is $5.00 per Standard video. Pay once, no subscription.
- Is Window Peeper AI free? Is there a free trial?
- No. Every video costs us real compute, so there is no free generation or trial. The examples page shows what you get before you pay. The CapCut template is free if you can film yourself at a window.
- Do credits expire?
- No. Credits never expire.
- What if my video fails?
- The credits go back to your balance automatically, including when the model's safety checker rejects a photo. You can try again with the same photo or a new one.
- I bought one video. Can I upgrade to the 8-video Pack?
- Yes. For 7 days after buying a single video you can add 7 more credits for $30.00, so the $9.99 you already paid counts toward the $39.99 Pack.
- Can I get a refund?
- Unused credits can be refunded within 14 days of purchase. Contact support.
- How can I pay?
- Secure checkout by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Who can be in the video
- Can I use a photo of a friend or my grandma?
- Yes, if they're 18 or older and have agreed to it. One person per photo.
- Can I use a photo of my dog or cat?
- Not yet. Window Peeper AI is built for one adult person per photo.
- Can I put a child, a celebrity or a public figure in it?
- No. No children, no celebrities and no public figures.
- Can I use a photo of a neighbour or a stranger?
- No. Never use a photo of someone taken without their knowledge. The video is staged comedy, not a way to film or expose real people.
Privacy and trust
- What happens to my photo?
- It's used only to make your video, never to train AI models, and it's deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Is this connected to TikTok, CapCut or the original creator?
- No. This is an independent project. Videos are AI-generated and staged for comedy.
- Someone used my photo without asking. What can I do?
- Email support@aiwindowpeeper.com with a link or description and we'll remove it. Our takedown page explains the steps.
